Acer’s Aspire One and the Eee PC!

” Whoa, big day in the land of low-cost ultra-portables. First Dell, now Acer in what appear to be the first shots of Acer’s first sub-$500 ultra-portable. The images above were dumped into the forum over at UMPC Portal and show what appears to be an “Aspire One” branding to the right of the touchpad and what could certainly pass as the rumored 8.9-inch display. And although that UI is very un-Microsoft, there’s no denying the Microsoft flag waving back from the keyboard. We’ll know for sure if this is Acer’s contestant in the race to the bottom next week at Computex. “

Ulaştırma Bakanı Binali Yıldırım, Youtube’un sürekli kapatılmasıyla ilgili olarak konuştu.

Bakan Yıldırım, “Bu olayın arkasında kayıtsız kazanç elde etmek var. Bir ülkede yayın yapıp para kazanıyorsan oranın kanunlarına uyacaksın. Gelip güvenlik belgesi almaları gerekiyor. Diğer ülkelerde hem bu belgeyi alıyor, hem de onların dilinde içerik sağlıyorlar. Bize gelince eyvallahı yok. Ama düzeldi iş, anlaştık. Baktılar ki kafalarına göre iş yapamıyorlar. Üçüncü dünya ülkesi Youtube‘u kapatıyor demek bu işin fiyakası. Burada yasak değil, faaliyet gösterilen ülkenin kanunlarına uymak var” diye belirtti.

YouTube’a erişim ülkemizde daha önce bir çok kez değişik nedenlerle engellenmişti.

Acer Predator gaming rig: Faster. Deeper. Harder. Further.

Hey, that’s Acer’s overtly compensating tag line, not our take on this totally over-the-top gaming rig. Acer’s new Aspire G7700 Predator desktop offers options such as an overclocking quad-core, Core 2 Extreme proc, up to 8GB of DDR2 800/1066 memory, a

nd 3x NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX graphics cards kept in check by liquid cooled core. It features what Acer calls a “world’s first optical bay mechanism” revealing a pair of 5.25-inch drive bays which you can stuff with a DVD drive, BD/HD DVD drive or both. The box can be configured with up to 4x, 3.5-inch SATA hot-swappable hard drives (including 10k RPM raptors) with RAID support.

CBS bütün bu içerikleri satın alarak internet medyasında güçlü bir konuma gelmiş bulunurken bazı uzmanlar bunun yanlış bir hamle olduğunu savunuyor.

Cnet’in hisse senetleri fiyatları ortalama 8 dolar iken, CBS 1.8 Milyar dolar ödeyerek hisse başına 11.50 dolar vermiş durumda. Bu da normal değerinin %45 daha fazlası demek.

Wall Street Journal’ın haberine göre daha önce de sizlere verdiğimiz BlackBerry’nin dokunmatik ekranlı yeni bir model üreteceği haberi doğrulandı. HTC’nin iş hayatındaki kullanıcılara yönelik cihazlarıyla büyük bir yarış içerisinde olan BlackBerry’nin, “thunder” kod adlı yeni cihazını bir kaç ay içerisinde satışa sunması bekleniyor.

BlackBerry Thunder, Verizon’un CDMA şebekesinin yanı sıra Avrupa’da Vodafone üzerinden GSM şebekesi dahilinde de kullanılabilecek. Bu modelin üretilmesi durumunda BlackBerry Bold kod isimli model iPhone rakibi olmaktan çıkacak gibi görünüyor. Dokunmatik ekranıyla çok daha büyük ses getireceğe benzeyen Thunder, HSPA teknolojisiyle 3. neslin yanı sıra 4. nesil bağlantı hızlarına erişebilecek.

This little bundle of plain-vanilla familiarity is seemingly the first live picture of Palm’s upcoming Treo 800w for CDMA networks, known internally as the Zeppelin — you know, the obsolete airships that had a tendency to spontaneously combust. Specs on this one are starting to shore up, with Windows Mobile 6.1, EV-DO Rev. A, GPS, a 320 x 320 touchscreen (still novel by classic WinMo standards) and a typical Treo look and feel that doesn’t diverge terribly much from Palm’s tried, true, and well-worn formula. Sprint’s looking solid to pick it up come late July, but with those HTCs around the corner, just how much love at the register is this thing gonna get?
