HP Türkiye’de Kişisel Sistemlerden Sorumlu Ülke Müdürü iken, Ortadoğu Kişisel Sistemler Müdürü olarak atanan Serdar Urçar, görevine Dubai’de devam etmek üzere Türkiye’den ayrılmıştı. Türkiye’deki görevi süresince markayı uzun süre lider konumda tutan Urçar, Ortadoğu Bölge Müdürlüğü’ne bu başarısı sebebiyle getirilmişti.

Serdar Urçar’ın dönüşü ise, tam anlamıyla muhteşem oldu. Zira kendisi, perşembe günü itibariyle HP Türkiye Genel Müdürlüğü görevine atandı. Genel Müdürlüğü, 7 yıldır bu görevi yapmakta olan Şahin Tulga’dan devralacak olan Urçar, görevine Ağustos 2008 itibariyle başlayacak.

Serdar Urçar’a yeni ve zorlu makamında başarılar diliyor, Türkiye bilişim dünyasına ise “hayırlı olsun” diyoruz.

ŞAHİN TULGA DOĞAN GRUBU İLE EL SIKIŞTI

Bu arada hatırlatmakta fayda var. Görevi Serdar Urçar’a bırakan Şahin Tulga Doğan grubuyla el sıkıştı. Doğan grubu bünyesindeki Trade Media East’in CEO’luğuna getirilen Tulga, böylece Avrupa’nın önde gelen seri ilan şirketlerinden birinde önemli bir göreve atanmış oldu.

Acer’s Aspire One and the Eee PC!

” Whoa, big day in the land of low-cost ultra-portables. First Dell, now Acer in what appear to be the first shots of Acer’s first sub-$500 ultra-portable. The images above were dumped into the forum over at UMPC Portal and show what appears to be an “Aspire One” branding to the right of the touchpad and what could certainly pass as the rumored 8.9-inch display. And although that UI is very un-Microsoft, there’s no denying the Microsoft flag waving back from the keyboard. We’ll know for sure if this is Acer’s contestant in the race to the bottom next week at Computex. “

Hey, that’s Acer’s overtly compensating tag line, not our take on this totally over-the-top gaming rig. Acer’s new Aspire G7700 Predator desktop offers options such as an overclocking quad-core, Core 2 Extreme proc, up to 8GB of DDR2 800/1066 memory, a

nd 3x NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX graphics cards kept in check by liquid cooled core. It features what Acer calls a “world’s first optical bay mechanism” revealing a pair of 5.25-inch drive bays which you can stuff with a DVD drive, BD/HD DVD drive or both. The box can be configured with up to 4x, 3.5-inch SATA hot-swappable hard drives (including 10k RPM raptors) with RAID support.
